As I put the finishing touches on my new website www.dragonflylifeinbalance.com, I decided to create a blog to go along with it.
Here I’ll be addressing the issues I face in keeping my life in balance.
Recently I’ve been working with one of my coaches on adding more relaxation to my life. With growing my practice, building my website and working on my coaching certification I have found myself with precious little free time. That good old puritan work ethic makes me feel as if I have to fill that space with more work!
Well, we all know that ain’t right.
So, I’ve very deliberately added “down-time” to my schedule. I am making time to practice yoga, I’m getting massages on a regular basis and I’m being mindful of being fully present when I spend quality time with Ray. I can’t express enough how very important that is. Life is far too short to waste the time we spend with our loved ones thinking about the other things we have going on.
I’m not saying it’s been an easy transition for me. It has, however been incredibly rewarding. The time I spend tending to my self-care needs and to my relationship have been rewarding in their own right. I am also enjoying the ripple effect of refreshing and renewing my energy and my spirit. So when I do concentrate on work I’m not “running on empty”.
I’ll let you know how this is evolving and any other balance challenges that come up in future postings.
Namaste,
Lynn

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for allowing me in to your site. I have been
slightly introduced into Reiki by my chiropractor who
I have occasionally seen. I wish you all the best and
please do continue to help others with your life calling.
I hope the “Peace” batik works for you as it does for me. I have been lucky to enjoy designing and teaching
art at a late age as I am now 70. I will continue to look
for your blogs and check periodically on your site.
Thank you again for your interest.
Very Sincerely,
Dee
